Annalisa Giocoli
Urban-planning architect
She has been working at the Barcelona Metropolitan Area’s Urban Planning Service since 2005, and on the drafting of the Metropolitan Urban Master Plan since 2014, as the person in charge of studies and proposals on green infrastructure. She was previously involved in the drawing up of the Special Plan for the Delta de Llobregat Agricultural Park, in collaboration with Barcelona Provincial Council (DIBA) and the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC), as well as the “Línea blava” [Blue Line] project, in collaboration with the Provincial Council, the UPC and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). She has contributed to various publications, participated in exhibitions and written articles, and is a guest lecturer on university and master’s degree courses relating to urban and territorial planning. Barcelona association, she collaborates with several organisations to promote sustainable food policies in Barcelona and its metropolitan area.
