Barcelona Challenge, a challenge for good food and climate
During her closing speech at the 7th Global Forum of the Milan Urban Food Policy Pact, which was held in Barcelona from 19 to 21 October, the Mayor Ada Colau called on cities to make their voices heard at the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP 26) in Glasgow.
COP26 is where cities are aiming to become key players, through their citizens, for moving on from words to action and appealing to national governments to tackle the climate emergency through integrated food policies.
Barcelona Challenge is a call on municipalities and their residents to take on the commitment to transform food systems as a means of tackling the climate crisis.
We want you to hear the cities’ voices!
