Joan Ribas
Anthropologist and head of cultural heritage projects at the Alícia Foundation
PhD in Anthropology and head of cultural heritage projects at Fundació Alícia. BSc in Social and Cultural Anthropology by the University of Barcelona (UB), and PhD in this specialty. He has worked in different R+D+I projects on anthropology and food. Researcher at the Food Observatory (ODELA) since 2005.
He is currently responsible for projects on food heritage and participates in some projects on promotion of the territory through gastronomy. He also participates in the project Gente mayor, autonomía, alimentación y redes comunitarias de apoyo y dinamización del tejido comercial (GEGAAN) , which has been selected by the Barcelona Institute of Technology of the Barcelona City Council in the framework of the call for grants for urban innovation projects.
